Dr. Nathalie Alexis earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2020 with a concentration in Children and Families and Global Mental Health at William James College in Newton, Massachusetts. During her training, she gained experience providing psychotherapy in a variety of settings including, schools, rape crisis centers, residential treatment programs, and adolescent inpatient units. She has gained experiencing supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of struggles including anxiety, depression, trauma and grief, and interpersonal conflict. She also has a special interest in mentoring and supervising students, particularly those considering a career in the mental health field. She views therapy as a collaborative process in which people can explore difficult feelings, promote greater self-understanding, and cultivate self-compassion. She takes great care building safe and warm relationships with her clients as they heal from pain and adversity and discover their capacity for growth and resilience.
