Mental Health Counseling in Boston & Brooklyn
Brookline Adult and Child Counseling (BACC) offers in-person and virtual psychotherapy to children, families, and adults in Boston, Massachusetts and Brooklyn, New York.
Our Approach
At Brookline Adult and Child Counseling (BACC), we provide individual and family therapy to support people with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma, dysregulation in childhood, defiance, school refusal and difficult family dynamics.
Our diverse clinicians incorporate psychodynamic principles and person-centered therapy, emphasizing the impact of relationships and past experiences. BACC providers utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to teach skills for managing difficult emotions and behaviors. When working with children, adolescents, and families we focus on strengthening relationships and providing effective parenting advice, including behavior modification techniques.
Our mission is to offer an inclusive and accepting space. We stand against racism, antisemitism and islamophobia, and we proudly affirm the trans and queer community. Our mission is to provide compassionate and evidence based therapy, celebrating the unique identities and experiences of every individual.
